Michelle Stafford is an American screenwriter, she is also an actress and a producer. She is known to the world as Phyllis Summers on the Young and the Restless.

Personal Life
According to her bioraphy, Michelle Stafford was born on September 14th 1965, located in Chicago. She was raised in Montrose, California along with her older sister Janine as her parents moved there. Her mother works as an executive in Universal Studios and her father is a lawyer. Michelle spent her childhood in California and she attended schools there as well. Ever since she was a child, her parents stated that she loved to pose and dress up.
Michelle started modelling after she was 18 and she even had an encounter with a brain tumour but that did not turn out to be malignant. The actress has her first child through a gestational surrogate on Monday December 21st 2009, named Natalia Scout Lee. Then she had her second child in October 2015. They named him Jameson Jones Lee. Her current height is 5 feet 7 inches.
Career
Michelle Stafford’s career began in the area of modelling and she would go on runways even in Japan, France and Italy. Then, she spent her time living in Italy that helped her become more common and open to the surrounding and when she moved back to the US she started auditioning for roles in movies.
From 1990, Michelle initiated her career in the art of acting from Fox’s soap opera called Tribes. Michelle’s job in acting came into full swing from her role in CBS daytime Soap Opera that was named as The Young And The Restless’ as The role of Phyllis Summers which caught the eye of the producers and eventually she got more job offers for other roles. Eventually, she was replaced by Sandra Nelson as she left to pursue another career opportunities in 1997. She also appeared as a guest star in 1999 Thriller ‘Double Jeopardy’.
In 2012, Michelle appeared as Lauren on another web series called ‘ The Grove’ created By Crystal Chappell. On August 5th 2013, she launched her own Youtube Channel called the Stafford Project Starring her Life struggles and personal issues. The series has received positive comments from critics as it was a part comedy and in 2014 she starred as Tricia in ‘On Georgia’s Mind’ which was a short film.
Stafford has been nominated in various awards like Daytime Emmy Award and Soap Opera Digest Award and even won many of the nominations in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series most of those are from the series of her part from The Young and The Restless as Phyllis Summers. Till now, the actress had won 3 Soap Opera Digest Award and 2 Daytime Emmy Award.
She also played a hit role in ‘ General Hospital’ produced by ABC Soap Opera as Nina Clay that was the wife of Dr Silas Clay. In 2013, the actress also starred in her very own comedy web series called ‘ The Stafford Project’. She is also involved in promoting beauty products. In 2016, Michelle launched her own beauty line of skin care products called ‘ Skin Nation’. The products are said to be cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, organic and natural.
