Marlon Wayans was born in the year 1972 on July 23rd, according to his biography. He was born in the New York City to his parents. He grew up with his ten siblings in the family. As he belonged to a very middle-class family, he did not get the chance to experience the luxuries of life. Mayans was pampered a lot by his parents as well as by his siblings. Marlon shared a very good bond with his elder brothers. When he was only four years old, he developed a sudden interest towards drama and music.
Marlon used to act in front of the mirror by seeing the actors on the television screen. Seeing his interest towards drama, his parents sent him to the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. This school was a very popular school in the town. Marlon started learning acting and drama from his elementary class. Career
Marlon began his acting career with his siblings in the year 1992, in the television series In Living Color. He appeared in The Wayans Bros with his another sibling from 1995 to 1999. He gained a lot of popularity from this series and was then approached for Batman Forever in the year 1995 after being considered for the role of Robin in the movie Batman Returns in 1992.
But later, his role was given to Chris O’Donnell who replaced him in the movie and he was given a penalty payment as he signed the contract but the director didn’t let him continue with his role. Marlin’s other appearance include in the film Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, Senseless, Mr. Show with Bob and David and many more.
He has also worked as a producer for 2 installments of the very famous “Scary Movie” franchise where he and his brother were credited with being the writers as well as actors for the movies. The most important roles in his career for acting were in the movies “Requiem For a Dream” and “Dungeons and Dragons” where he was appreciated by the audience for his acting skills.
His success as an actor further escalated and he did many movies in the recent. He has also hosted the MTV Video Music Awards in the year 2000. His most recent work includes his role in the comedy sitcom “Marion”, which was launched by NBC in 2017.
