Maite Perroni Beorlegui was born on March 9, 1983 Mexico City. She was raised in Guadalajara. When she was 12 years old, her parents moved back to Mexico City. She also has two brothers, named Adolfo and Francisco. She started her career in her early childhood, by appearing at several commercials as well as in music videos. She also was involved in a Disney Channel show as a dancer. She decided to pursue her acting career and after high school, she enrolled in Televisia prestigious school, where she attended a special course during two years in a row.

She has made her first appearance as a professional actress in the Mexican telenovela “Rbelde” with the role of Guadalupe "Lupita" Fernández. It was a great experience, while she played this role from 2004 till 2006. In the 2007 she played in the sitcom “RBD: La Familia”, where she portrayed May character. In the same year she made a guest appearance in the “Lola, érase una vez”. For just one decade she became one of the most prominent and successful artists in the Latin world.
The next year she got the main role in the telenovela “Cuidado con el ángel”. She reached another lead role of Lucrecia Córdoba Pedraza de Huerta in the TV series “Mi Pecado”. In the 2010 she appeared in the third season of “Mujeres asesinas”, where she played just 4 episodes. In addition to her acting career, she was involved in several projects as a voice actor.
During her career she was nominated numerous times. She was nominated for the Best Lead Actress twice and even won in the 2016. She won the title The Girl of My Dreams by her participation in “Cuidado Con El Ángel” and “Triunfo del Amor”. She reached the 50 Most Beautiful list nine years in a row since 2008 till 2016.
