Luke Bryan is an American musician, who writes and performs songs. He is known for his albums I’ll Stay Me, Doin’ My Thing, Tailgates & Tanlines, Crash My Party, and Kill the Lights. He has some top-ranking music hits under his belt such as All My Friends Say, I See You and Kick the Dust Up. He has been honored with awards such as the Academy of Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards. Early Life
Luke Bryan was born as Thomas Luther Bryan in 1976. He is a rural boy hailing from Leesburg in Georgia. His father, Tommy Bryan, was a farmer who grew peanuts. When older brother tragically died of a car accident, he moved to Nashville. Later he enrolled at the Georgia Southern University and received his Bachelors in Business Administration in 1999.
He was introduced to the music world through one of his friends Cole Swindell. He started by writing songs for various artists and finally gained appreciation with his song All My Friends Say. Shortly after this track, another tragedy struck his family when his sister Kelly died at home under mysterious circumstances. He often speaks of how his dead older siblings have shaped his music career.
Music Albums Luke Bryan has released five albums so far, of which worldwide 7 million copies have been sold. He started with I’ll Stay Me, which had his debut single All My Friends Say and also We Rode in Trucks. This song reached a high position of #5 on Hot Country Songs. His second album Doin’ My Thing had the song Do I which reached #2 on the same chart. His third album, Tailgates & Tanlines, saw much greater success. His song on it titled Country Girl reached #22 on the Billboard Charts. His next album was Crash My Party, which had hits like That’s My Kind of Night and Drink a Beer. From his current album, Kill the Lights, the songs Kick the Dust Up and Strip It Down have hit the big league.
Personal Life
Luke Bryan is married to Caroline Bryan. They were college sweethearts and got married in December 2006 and have two sons named Thomas Boyer Bryan and Tatum Christopher Bryan. Along with these children, he has also adopted the children of his sister after their father died in 2014. The family lives in Nashville.
Bryan has suffered several personal tragedies in his life, mainly the death of both his older siblings. His life has been a roller coaster ride, but he finds solace in his music. He is quite active on social media and his songs can be found on his official YouTube channel where they are shared considerably among his fans.
