Tyler started with a modeling career when she was 14 years old but she turned into acting afterwards. After the first role in Silent Fall, she did appear in That Thing You do, Empire Records and in Heavy. Afterwards, Tyler got the critical recognition within the leading role of the Stealing Beauty of Bernardo Bertolucci.
