Eva Leanza Cornett was born on June 10, 1971 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. She has grown up in Jacksonville, Florida. She studied at the Terry Parker High School and graduated in the 1989. Later, in the 2006, she was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame. Her work on stage include “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”, “Barefoot in the Park”, “Bye Bye Birdie” and “Voyage of the Little Mermaid”, where she played a live-action version of Ariel and was the first actress who did it. She also made a little career as a singer. Previous to her acting success, Leanza was a member of the contemporary Christian music group Area Code. The band even released their single album, which was titled “One Big World” and appeared in the early 90s.
She is a married woman. Her husband is a famous ET correspondent Mark Steines. They met each other in the early 90s and tied their married knot in the 1995. The couple is blessed with two children. Their first son Kai Harper was born in the 2002. The next year, Leanza gave birth to her second son Avery James. Her family lives in Los Angeles, California because they wanted to be near Mark's show, which originates daily from Studio City.
