Lauren Alaina Kristine Suddeth was born on the 8th of November, 1994 in Rossville, Georgia, United States of America. Her parents, Kristy and J.J. Suddeth, divorced once. The reason of their breaking up was father’s alcohol dependence. Soon, they remarried again. The music always took an important place in their family. Her mother and older brother Tyler both used to sing, and her father used to play several instruments. Lauren especially was inspired of music by her cousin, Holly Witherow, who has a diagnosis of a brain tumor.

When Lauren was three years old, when she started practising singing. For the first time she was performing songs for the public together with a kids choir. She also took part in the concerts in church, restaurants, family holidays and in any place near her house. When she was eight, Lauren participated in the talent contest of the Southern Stars Pageant and took the first place.
The following year, she was invited to sing on the Kids talent stage at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. She had also written her first song at the age of nine. The name of this one was “She’s a Miracle”, and it was created for her aunt, who had a car accident. For four years, she was performing on the scene. Then she won a contest and got an opportunity to sing on the festival's big stage. Besides, she took part in the American Model and Talent Competition in Orlando, Florida. Among 1,500 kids, she became a winner.
Alaina had a partner, Georgia Country Gospel, with whom she sang in the Music Association's children's group. In 2006, she travelled to Nashville; it was the first time when she left her own house for so long. At the age of 15, Lauren became the champion of the WinniSTAR youth talent contest at Lake Winnepesaukah amusement park. She entered Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School in Fort Oglethorpe in Georgia.
During the leisure time, she was the part of cheerleading. In addition to studying, Alaina worked at CiCi's Pizza. The next step for her was going to the audition of a well-known television show “American Idol”. Due to this program, the whole world found out about her talent. She even took the second place after Scotty McCreery and soon signed a contract. In October, she released her first album “Wildflower”. She has performed on a number of talk shows and has toured extensively of the last two years. She is currently working on her second album.
