Katie Fehlinger

Katie Fehlinger was born on July 1, 1974 in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. She spent her early years there with her family. Her parents were an ordinary people of the second class from Pennsylvania. There is no information about her early childhood and family as well as pre education details. After school, she studied at the Cedar Crest College in Allentown. She finally graduated from there with summa cum laude and a B.A. Degree in communications. Afterwards, she continued her education and enrolled in the Mississippi State University. She graduated with another Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Geosciences. She was interested in natural phenomena and meteorology.

She began her career in the early 2000s. At first she joined to RCN 4 channel in Bath, Pennsylvania. During that time she also made some reports about the Emmy Award winning news and did some work for “Tempo!” magazine. In the 2006 she finally became a meteorologist. She made her appearance on Fox news channel by reporting about tornadoes along the Midwest of the United States. Since that time she was interested of weather reporting and meteorology even more.

Then she worked as a forecaster of morning news for WCBS channel. In addition, Katie worked at the AccuWeather Incorporated, which situated in the State College. She got a very good experience in some regional networks such as Fox Sports, NESN and the Big Ten Network. Being a big sports fan, she also covered football, baseball matches as well as hockey while working for Fox Sports. Later in September of the 2011 she joined the CBS 3 channel and morning news team. After being so popular and so successful she is still very calm and collected.

Katie is a married woman. Her husband is Steve, who is a strategist for Accuweather Company. The couple met each other a few years ago in Philadelphia and finally wedded in Jamaica. They are blessed with two children Parker Janice and Kaeden Faye, who actually are twins. There are a lot of photos and interview with Katie when she was pregnant. She also appeared on the cover of the Daily Weekend News magazine.

Katie was pregnant for only 35 weeks, and during that time she worked on TV. She continued her work and was also shamed because her appearance. Once she said in an interview that she was trying to ignore some comments, but when someone called her like “sausage in casing” and she received another mean things to the side of her person, she decided to say some words to the bad guys in FB post. After her children’s birth in August of 2015 she was on a vacation for three months and continued her work in November of the same year. Currently, she resides with her husband and children in her own house in Philadelphia. He also was an active in charity and got involved in volunteer work with local charities. Her total net worth is still under evaluation as well as her salary.
