Kalani was given a role to play in the second season of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, where she successfully became Abby's best because of her flexibility, skills and having the inherent appearence of a dancer. She was defeated in Vegas Show Stoppers at first after giving a weak hip hop performance but was taken back in the next episode thanks to Abby's call-back card. Kalani was lucky to go through all the way to the final four, where she was finally knocked out during the group task.
After AUDC concluded, Kalani was given an important opportunity of joining the Abby Lee Dance Company high-class team. She made her debut on the show in Big Trouble in the Big Apple and was on the show until Presenting My New Team. After its finishing, Kalani and her mother made a decision to go back to Arizona because of personal reasons. However, Kalani and Kira were taken back the following season.
Addison Moffett and Kalani Hilliker created their own YouTube channel with the title "KalaniAddy". However, in May 2016, all of the videos were suddenly removed from the channel. In March 2016, Kalani passed her driver's permit successfully. She got her very first car on her 16th birthday as a gift from her mom and stepdad. She received a luxurious white range rover. According to some sources the 16-year-old actress and dancer has an estimated net worth which is close to $1 million.
