Libby Reuss was born in the 1981 in Lowa. Her parents were Larry Ruess and Bess Zinger. She also has siblings, her younger brother Nate is a musician. Her uncle, John Ruess, was a performer on Broadway plays and served as an influence for Ruess' musical ventures. She is a very close to her brother, they have only one year difference. They spent their first years in Lowa City, Lowa State. In the 1986 Libby and her family moved to the Glendale, Arizona. She studied at the Deer Valley High School and graduated in the 1999.

After high school, she enrolled in the Arizona State University. She graduated in the 2004 and got a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Sociology & Minor in Philosophy.Afterwards, she continued her education at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising by studying Visual Communication Design during 2004 – 2006.
At the same time she started her career way in fashion and joined to the Stacey Rhodes Showroom. There Libby was a wholesale sales intern and worked directly with buyers and stores to sell popular brands and fashion product lines. She helped manage wholesale accounts and was involved in preparing sales contracts, it was a good experience for her. She left in the 2006 after she finished her education.
In addition to the Stacey Rhodes Showroo, Libby worked at two jobs more such as Giorgio Armani and Tryst. Being on the board of Giorgio Armani she was a public relations intern and she assisted in writing design briefs, presentations, as well as was involved in the press releases work. She also promoted Armani brand image in major publications in popular magazines and top networks articles.
She also was a Brand Consultant at the Tryst. During the year and a half she worked with businesses and buyers in the fashion sphere to promote and sell numerous of the popular brands of clothes and product lines. Libby created a streamlined sales tracking system to chart sales across product lines as well as provided product knowledge presentations for best sales. In the 2006 she joined to the Nordstrom where she built an amazing career being a Chanel RTW sales specialist and manager. It was the major step for her to make her own business.
During the years at the Nordstrom, she managed employees, purchasing, and merchandising.She also built a long-term relationships with stores and customers promote sales and exceed growth targets. She was a top seller every year from 2010 until she left in the middle of 2015.
She finally left Nordstrom after nine years to create her own business. In the 2015 she founded her own brand “Reuss”. She created a special collection for active women of swimwear and accessories constructed of lightweight neoprene fabric designed to be versatile, functional, and effortlessly stylish things. She is a very private person and does not expose her relationship, regarding her boyfriend, husband and so on. Currently, she resides in New York City. Her total net worth is unknown. Her brother’s net worth is about ten million dollars.
