Juliette Norton is now more known as Jools Oliver after gaining fame for her marriage with Jamie Oliver. She was born in Primrose Hill, London, England. She was raised in Essex and had a very bright childhood as she grew up. She was a beautiful young woman that got along with everyone around her because of her nice personality and kind demeanor.
Career
She had has a really long list of careers and jobs in her. At first, she worked as a waitress. She wanted to find a way to make money and the job was easy to get for someone like her. The manager of the restaurant felt that her attractive looks would be useful in providing customer service to the patrons of the restaurant.
After a series of small jobs, she got a big break when she became an assistant on a television. She enjoyed many years working behind the scenes in the television industry. She was encourage by her co workers and friends to try her hand at being a model. She didn’t’ like to think of herself as a pretty person but she heard so many compliments from people that she felt she would be doing herself a disservice if she didn’t at least try it out.

Medical Issue and Children
Juliette Norton was sadly diagnosed with a condition called Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which meant that she had ovarian cysts. The disease meant that it would be extremely difficult to for her to give birth to a child. Jools and Jamie used in vitro fertilization (IVF) in attempt to have children. Fortunately for them, the procedure worked and their two daughters were born in the 2002 and 2003. Later she decided to use IVF again and in the 2009 she became the mother of a baby named Petal.
In an interview, she once said that she would very much like to have more children. Since they only have daughters, she wants to grant her husband’s wish of having a son "If I would have to go through the reception of all of these fertility drugs again, I will certainly agree to it. Jamie will also do everything possible to help me conceive a boy". Jamie would get his wish as Juliette would eventually give birth to two sons.

After her bad times and medical issues, she wrote a book, which was titled “Minus Nine to One: The Diary of an Honest Mum”. Her first book was a breakthrough and later she wrote another one, which contained stories for kids and was titled “The Adventures of Dotty and Bluebell”. Her second book was released in the 2008 to much praise from her fans and book critics.
The Daily Mail asked her about the books she would read when she was a young girl, “All the books that I was buying for my girls were so hard to read – and grammatically incorrect – that they drove me mad. I couldn't find the kind of normal stories they wanted to hear, and I found myself falling back on Enid Blyton – they love the Secret Seven – and the My Naughty Little Sister books by Shirley Hughes and Dorothy Edwards. 'There didn't seem to be any new books offering those kind of simple stories, so I thought, why not write them?'”
Marriage to a Famous Chef
Juliette has been married to Jamie Trevor Oliver since July 2000. The love birds decided to get married after seven years of dating. Her husband is a famous chef and television personality. The couple met each other in the 1993 while Jamie studied at Westminster College. Jamie and Juliette were both just 18 years old when they fell in love. They are blessed to have five children together. They have three daughters named Poppy, Daisy and Petal, and two sons Buddy and River Rocket.
When Jamie was asked about their marriage, he said, "I think Jools likes me because she does not love me entirely and fully as an idol. She wasn't obsessed with any mission, but just wanted to marry the one who loves her and who in the end will create a family with her”.
Juliette also had kind words to say about her husband, “It sounds old-fashioned, but I think that when you're someone like Jamie, you need a wife like me. I am on the background, taking care only that the children were in bed, and everyone was happy I think it is perfectly possible to lead a simple, traditional life with your children in the 21st century. And it's not dependent on having money. I hear all the time, "It's all right for Jools Oliver, she's got loads of money," but actually what I do is what a lot of other mums do.”
Juliette gets up at six every day because she wants to make the girls porridge before they go to school, and because she needs the time to do the stuff she thinks she should do because she doesn't currently have a job. She sometimes feels guilty but Jamie always assures her that she doing the hard part by raising their children while he is away at work.
