Jacinta Patrice Stapleton was born on June 6, 1979 in Malvern, Victoria, Australia. Her parents were an ordinary people from Malvern. She also has siblings. She was raised along with her brother Sullivan Stapleton in Victoria. She was interested in acting since her school years, when she was involved at the school theater plays. She attended Ingleburn high school during 1997 – 1998 where she decided to continue her acting career. After high school she enrolled to Sandringham Secondary College. She also appeared in television series “Genie from Down Under” and “The Flying Doctors” when she was a kid. Her brother becomes an actor too and appeared in movies like “Gangster Squad” and “Animal Kingdom”.

She began her celebrity career in a very young age in the middle of 80s. At first she joined to an acting agency. For several years she appeared in some commercials and TV series. In addition she was a model for Australian magazines, but she ended her modeling work when she was twelve. She also played in the movie “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” in the 1988. At the same year she appeared with role of Becky in the film “Becca”. She got her breakthrough role in the popular soap opera “Neighbours” by playing Amy Greenwood in the 1985. She appeared in the TV series “The Flying doctors” as Cyndiy, which was a secondary guest role.

In the 2014 she was involved in TV project “Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story of INXS” as Reen Nalli. At the same year she also played Mercedes Corby in the “Schapelle”.
During her almost twenty years career she also was a voice artists. In the end of 1999 Jacinta posed nude for popular “Black plus White” magazine. She is not married now.
