Joshua Michael Peck is an American voice actor, actor and stand-up comedian. He is famous for his role as Josh Nichols in Drake and Josh.

Personal life
Josh was born in New York City in 1986. His parents were not married when he was born. He never has met his biological father. He grew up with his mother, Barbara and his maternal grandmother. His mother is a career coach. Josh had a Jewish childhood and also had a Bar Mitzvah ceremony. When he was young, he had asthma and it made him stay indoors. This made him more attached to sitcoms and inspired to become a stand-up comedian, when he was just eight years old.

Career
He began his career, when he was a child. He appeared in TADA! Youth Theatre and performed stand up comedies. When he was 13, he appeared for a role in The Amanda Show of Nickelodeon. He got the part and his mother made him move to Los Angeles, to focus on his career biography.
His first film chance came in 2000 with Snow Day. He was also acting as a regular cast in The Amanda Show until 2002. His first voice artist role came in 2006 for the movie, Ice Age: The Meltdown as Eddie. He currently is a part of ‘Take the 10’, a film that is going to be released in 2017. On TV, his debut was in 2000 in All That. He was casted for two episodes. His greatest TV breakthrough was in the same year in The Amanda Show. His first TV movie was in 2006 in Drake and Josh Go Hollywood.
For his performances, he has been nominated for 2008 Kids’ Choice Award, Teen Choice Awards in 2015 (twice) and 2016 and People’s Choice Awards in 2016. He won Independent Spirit Award in 2005 for Special Distinction in his work in Mean Creek. He also won 2008 UK Kids’ Choice Award for favorite male TV star for his work in Drake and Josh.
