American actress Jacqueline Yvonne Harry was born on August 14, 1956 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Her mother was from Trinidad, her father was born in America, and he was an African-American. Jackee Harry since her high school years liked the profession of an actress. When she attended High School of the Performing Arts in New York City she studied there acting skills.

After high school, Jackee enrolled to C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville. And after graduation she started her career as an actress. First she became a stage actress. Her first play was A Broadway Musical, after that she has played in many productions and plays, including Lady Day at Emersons Bar and Grill, The Boys from Syracuse, The Sunshine Boys, A Christmas Carol and Damn Yankees and other.
In 1983 Jackee received her first role on TV. It was the role of Lily Mason in a soap opera Another World. This role Jackee portrayed from 1983 to 1986 and during that time she joined another TV series – 227. Her character Sandra Clark was one of the main, moreover, she played that role fantastically. She also appeared in many episodic roles in different movies and TV series: Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child (1995), Unhappily Ever After (1996), Twice in a Lifetime (2000), 7th Heaven (2003), That's So Raven (2005), Friends & Lovers (2010), She's Still Not Our Sister (2011), Let's Stay Together (2011, 2012 and 2013).
Since 2012 Jackee Harry has played the main role of Pauletta Birdsong in an American sitcom The First Family, produced by Allen's production company Entertainment Studios. This series was released by First-run syndication and has been sold to many channels all around the America, covering more than 85% of the audience. However, The First Family is not the only Jackee’s current job, she also plays Evelyn Rand in Girl Meets World since 2014 and Nadine in “In the Cut” since 2015.
