Ignacio Serricchio

Ignacio Serricchio was born on 19 April, 1982. He was born in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. The maiden name of Ignacio Serricchio is Ignacio Ariel Serricchio. He moved very young from Lanus, Argentina, when he was 11 years old, to Mexico. The reason for moving out from Lanus to Mexico is that his father decided it after someone tried to kill him. He decided it is for him and his son to move out from danger and go in a search for better life in Mexico. After finishing high school education in Mexico he moves to United States to become an actor. He has a height over 1.80 m.


Education

Ignacio Serricchio finished high school in Mexico. After he graduated from high school, Ignacio didn't know what to study. He seeked advice from his father.

His father told him that it is best for him to choose what makes him happy. He replied later to his father that making people laugh and entertaining people makes him happy.

After that statement, he started studying drama at the Syracuse University. He became a graduate of Syracuse University.

He also attended Loyola Marymount University.

Career description

He is best known of his role in ABC's soap General Hospital (1963 - present). He joined the team of General Hospital in October 2004. General Hospital is the longest-running American TV soap opera.

In the series he depicts the fictional character of Diego Alcazar.

Diego Alcazar is a foster child. He was raised by Courtney Matthews. He begins dating Brook Lynn Aston.

Somehow he finds out that the father he has been searching for is a crime boss Lorenzo Alcazar and Maria Sanchez.

He believed that Maria Sanchez was his mother, but it turned out to be that she was his mother.

He begins living as a criminal and follows his father's footsteps.

Ignacio left the set of General Hospital in November 2006. He eventually returned to the set again in 2008 and left again in the same year.

In 2005 he is given a main role in 2005 film States of Grace directed by Richard Dutcher.

In this film, Ignacio plays the role of a Mormon preacher encountering a gang shooting. The film depicts how lives of a street preacher, an actress, a young gang member are connected.

In the year of 2007 he starred in worldwide famous TV series Ghost Whsiperer. He appeared in 6 episodes of Ghost Whisperer where he did a portrayal of Gabriel Lawrence.

In 2008 he starred in CW's series Priviligend and played Luis.

From December 2012 to January 2014 he portrayed the role of Alex Chavez in the CBS series The Young and The Restless.

He starred in drama series Witches of East End as medic Tommy Cole. In 2015 he played a role of medic Tommy Cole in TV series Zoe Ever After.

He also appeared in worldwide famous and appreciated medical dram Dr. House as Alfredo.

Ignacio is the part of the Bones series, where he portrays Dr. Fuentes, a forensic anthropologist.

Ignacio has never been married or he had a wife. He never divorced. He works and lives in Los Angeles.
