Early Life and Beginning of Career
David Tutera was born in 1966. He hails from a family of florists. His grandfather owned a florist business and, while he was growing up, he keenly observed the wedding arrangements. His grandfather soon saw the talent in him and when he was just 19, he started his event planning business. He had only one client when he started out.

Moving onward, David Tutera worked with several celebrities to arrange their events, mostly weddings. Quite notably, he has planned weddings and other events for Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Lopez, Lil’ Kim, Brandy, Antonio Pierce, and Chris Paul among others.
