David Pollack was born on 19 June 1982 in Georgia, USA. He belonged to a working-class family and his father was a mechanic. His mother taught at a kindergarten. He started playing basketball at a very young age. He was drawn toward the team since his siblings and friends played basketball in their leisure time. He went to the Shiloh High School for his primary education. He was a very good player at his school. At first, he started playing basketball but in school, he played other sports such as football and wrestling as well. He was very strong since his childhood and that is the reason he took to sports so well. He was very famous at his school and in his neighborhood for his game.

He went to the University of Georgia to get his higher degree. At his college, he was instantly selected in the football team looking at his past performances and the skills that he sowed in trial matches. He soon became a very important player for the team. At the college, he was the roommate of David Greene who later became a very famous NFL player. He made some very good records at his college. He was the regular in his team and often won the matches single handedly.
From 2002 to 2004 he was named among the best college football players. He was also included in teh All AMerican Team for three consecutive years at his college. His record is such that it makes him the the only player to be in the team for three consecutive years. He has been honored with many awards throughout his college career. In 2004 he was awarded the SEC Player of the Year Award. The same year he was also given the SEC Defensive Player of the year award. Also, he was given the Chuck Bednarik Award in 2004. His season was so good that he was given a fourth award called the Ted Hendricks Award in 2003 as well as in 2004. Another award that he was given for the same year was Lombardi awards for the best performer in a season. The sixth award that came his way was Lott Trophy in 2004.
He completes a bachelor's degree in history in the year 2005 and left the college on a new journey. He has won truck loads of trophies in his college and he was destined to become one of the best players in NFL. He started his career in 2005 most of which was injury prone. He performed very well the next year. In the second season, however, he was tackled by an opponent that broke his vertebrae and he was deemed not fit for playing for the rest of his life. This came as a shock to all football fans as Pollock was destined to become a future star. He later stopped playing the game. He later became the host at ESPN. He was married to Lindsey Pollak but later took divorce from his wife. He has two children from the marriage. His high salary has taken his net worth to Jordan $20 million.
