Hari was born in 1974 and he was born in Mumbai in India. It is known that his parents are of Tamil Brahmin ethnicity. His exact date of birth is not known. He, along with his family migrated to United States of America when he was 7 years old. Hari completed his education from Nathan Hale High School. It is also known that he completed his graduation from University of Puget Sound in United States of America. The degree was granted to him in 1995 and his specialization was in mass communication. Hari started his career while he was in school and he worked as a disc jockey to earn his pocket money, later after pursuing his graduation, he worked for many TV stations though he was just an intern all along the time. After completing his graduation in 1995, he was able to secure a job with WNCN - TV. After working for WNCN – TV for some time, Hari got an offer from CNET in California and he took no time to accept the offer and move to California.
Later in 2004, it was reported that Hari got an offer from ABC News and he joined the channel. He was given the responsibility to co-anchor the show, World News Now’. After 5 years of association with ABC News, he switched to CBS News in 2009. It was in the same year when he got a chance to become an online correspondent. He was working for the show ‘The News Hour with Jim Lehrer’ and it was his responsibility to summarize the show at the end. Because of his hard work and dedication towards work, he got a chance to anchor the show known as ‘PBS News Hour Weekend’. The responsibility of anchor was given to him in 2013.
Next year, in 2014, Hari hosted a talk show in which Honourable Narendra Modi was the guest of honour. The show was among one of the most talked show and the show was hosted at Madison Square Garden. The show was attended by over 18000 audience. Most of the Indian crowd attended the show and it was also popular because this was Mr Modi’s first visit after taking the responsibilities of the India as Prime Minister.
Hari had been married to Sucheta Sachdeva. The wedding ceremony was held as per the Hindu rituals and after the marriage, Sucheta gave birth to a baby boy and it is also known that Sucheta works as a Music Supervisor. There were also some rumours about Hari getting divorced but that doesn’t holds any weight and it was in 2016 when Hari shared a picture of his family on social networking site. Hari’s annual salary is not known and his net worth is 5 Million US Dollars. He surely leads a royal life and he has a huge fan following on twitter as well.
