counseling to high networth individuals and corporations. Garcia was born on
November 29, 1968 in Miami, Florida, USA. Her parents were immigrants from Cuba
whose ambition was to become Americans. They made it a point to only speak
English at home. Garcia is a financial wizard with an international marketing
degree from the University of Miami. Currently, she is the President of the
Company. The smart financial counselor lives and works in Miami, Florida.

Her first job, after graduation was as a financial consultant with Merril Finch. She worked with them for 10 years. Garcia is an investment consultant to several high corporations, individuals and families averaging $5 million. Garcia’s career embraces various projects. Early in her career, she served as Director of MEDNAX Inc. between 2008 and 2012. In 2002, she founded JDM Partners LLC, a wealth management firm based in Miami, and is the founder and president of The Beacon Experience.
Apart from these, she is the co-founder and president of a children’s charity Rock Foundation, serves as the chairman of White Buffalo Productions, director of Florida International University Foundation Board, member of the National Board of the foundation I Have a Dream, and member of the University of Miami Board of Trustees. She has worked in various capacities in feature films, television and sports entertainment, and as producer for projects such as Theater of War, Lovely Still, Which Way Home and The Hero. Snitch, Racing Dreams and P.O.V. are her some of her notable documentaries. In 2010, Which Way Home was nominated for an Oscar as Best Feature Documentary is its Chief Executive Officer.
Dany Garcia married Dwayne Johnson, wrestler turned actor, whom she dated for 7 years before marrying him in 1977. Together they have a daughter Simone Alexandra. They met at the University of Miami. The couple divorced in 2008. Dany’s parents objected to their daughter dating Johnson just because it was a mixed relationship. Johnson is popularly known as The Rock. There was no anger or mud-slinging during their divorce. The relationship ended amicably. Thereafter, Garcia reclaimed her maiden name. Garcia and Johnson have split custody of their daughter with Dwayne paying child support of over $22,000 per month. Together they will provide the child with $5,000 towards a trust fund for health care, education and other financial requirements.
Post their divorce, they still remain friends. It was speculated that Johnson was in a relationship with the singer and songwriter Lauren Hashian from 2007, which led to the divorce. However, no specific reasons were mentioned for their divorce. Garcia and Johnson were spotted together at several red carpet events and there was gossip that the two were getting back together. However, it was nothing more than just gossip. On March 29, 2014, without much ado, Garcia and Dave Rienzi tied the knot in Orlando. Her new husband has been her ex-husband’s trainer for three years to help him get the physique required for the feature films Pain & Gain and Hercules.
