Danny Bhoy was born in the year 1975 on January 16th. He spent his childhood in Scotland. He was brought up in a mixed culture as his father belonged from an Indian background and his mother was from a Scottish background. He was the youngest child of the four children. He was the most intelligent among his siblings and had great sense of humour from his childhood. He visited the Lockerbie Academy as a child for his primary education. Later, he went to the Merchiston Castle School along with his siblings for his high school education.
From childhood, he had an interesting humour which could hardly be observed in the boys of his age. When he joined the high school, he made a lot of friends within a few days. He became very popular among his friends due to his humour play. He used to make his friends laugh through his jokes and stand up comedies. He became very popular in his school due to his talent and even performed in the cultural function of his school.
His popularity as a stand up comedian did not remain limited within the boundaries of the school for long and he started doing outdoor performances from the age of fourteen only. He performed on several platforms and of all, his dream was to perform with the Newcastle United. As a teenager, he achieved a lot of popularity from the people for his unique talent of humour play.
In the year 1998, he started his professional career as a stand up comedian. When he participated at the Edinburgh Festival, he won the The Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award. After that, in the year 2001, he took part in the Comedy newcomers program which gained him a lot of fame. In the same year, he attempted a solo performance in the Edinburgh Festival. His popularity was so high by this time that the show became house full and there was also a huge demand for tickets. The turning point in his career came in the year 2004 at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. After the huge popularity on the television, he started appearing in many of the television shows.
After that, he also participated in the Royal Vanity Show which is a very popular show especially for the famous television personalities. He had also received several invitations and also an invitation from the Just for Laughs. He was also invited to inaugurate various popular comedy programs. Besides this, he has also appeared as a judge in many of the comedy programs. As far as his personal life is concerned, he has not provided us with quite a lot of information. He keeps his personal life a secret from the media to avoid any kind of controversies.
