Cheryl Reeve was born on September 20, 1966. She is native of. Cheryl was raised in along with her siblings. Her parents were an ordinary people from Pennsylvania, United States. After high school she enrolled to the La Salle University and graduated with a degree in computer science and management information systems. Later she continued her education and got her master’s degree in business administration. She was interested in sports from her childhood. During her school years she began play in basketball. She also holds the school record for most games started till now. During the College years she scored records to, especially in the 1987-1988. At the same time she tried herself as an assistant coach for almost 2 seasons.

In the early 90s she was an assistant coach at George Washington University until leave in the 1995. Then she moved to her new position at the Indiana State University, where she got her breakthrough time as a coach. According to her it was the years of real experience in coaching. She worked for Indiana State team until she jointed WNBA coaching ranks in the 2001. He becomes an assistant coach for Charlotte Sting team along with head coach Anne Donovan. Later in the 2003 she moved to Cleveland for another vacancy. In the new game season of 2004-2005 she returned to Charlotte Sting team for just one year. Afterwards she becomes an assistant for Detroit Shock team in the 2006 where she worked about four years and got 87 wins from 136 games. During this time she also was a general manager and promoter for the team.
In the 2009 she becomes the head coach for Minnesota Lynx team. According to her Lynx was a very bad team when she just joined to them, but through the seven years of hard work, they finally show great result with every new season till now. During their first year Lynx lost about 21 games from 34, in the end they missed the playoff and the season was failed at all. In the 2011 Cheryl got new amazing players like Maya Moore and afterwards WNBA saw the new results and Reeve becomes very popular as a coach.
Recently Cheryl was honored as Coach of the Year for Women's National Basketball Association again. Previously she was named as coach of the year in the 2011. Cheryl was selected for the first time by USA Basketball coaching assignment as a court coach for the 2013 USA National Team mini campaign. Under her leadership her team reached to the No. one place in the Western Conference in the 2013. The next year she directed the Minnesota Lynx with records during the season (27/7 games).From 2014 she also is an assistant for the USA National Team during World Championship as well as on the Olympic Games in the 2016. She is a very private person and does not expose her relationship, regarding her partner, husband and so on. It seems like she is not married and currently is single.
