Bizzy Bone is best known as the rapper on the band Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, where he is also the youngest member. He is also known as Li’l Ripsta in other acts. As part of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, he has been a part of several albums, some of them going on to win the prestigious Grammy Awards. He has also released seven solo albums, all of which have received varying degrees of successes. He has a record label of his own too, which is named as 7th Sign. This is a brief biography of this rapper-singer.


EARLY LIFE AND BEGINNING OF CAREER

Bizzy Bone was born as Bryon Anthony McCane II on September 12, 1976. His birthplace is Columbus in Ohio. He had a turbulent childhood with a stepfather. In one incident, when he was just four years old, his stepfather had abducted him and held him in secret captivity for over two years. This was a terrible ordeal, full of beatings and even molestation. He was miraculously saved when he was housed in Kaw City by someone who saw his photo at the end of the movie Adam, which was about another child kidnapping, and phoned the police. He also appeared on America’s Most Wanted and spoke about his ordeal of sexual abuse.

He met other fellow Bones when he was thirteen and living in Cleveland with his older sister. These members were Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Flesh-n-Bone, and Wish Bone. With them, he stated a group known as Bone Enterprise in 1922. This group later grew up to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

As a Solo Artist

Bizzy Bone’s first solo album was Heaven’z Movie. The album was released by several small-time recording companies. It received a significant amount of success for him to get his second album out. This album was bigger in scope and was released by a bigger recording label. The album, titled The Gift, was a major success. After this album, Bizzy Bone dropped out of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony for a while.

After this, Bizzy Bone released five more albums that achieved widespread recognition for him and some degree of critical success as well. These albums were Alpha and Omega, Speaking in Tongues, Thugs Revenge, A Song for You, Crossroads: 2010, and the relatively recent The Wonder Years. The Wonder Years was released in 2014. Since then, Bizzy Bone hasn’t released another major album yet. However, he did release an album for Internet release only, which was titled The Beginning and the End. This album was a smashing success.

Bizzy Bone has also appeared on the soundtracks of some popular video games. He has performed for Grand Theft Auto V and True Crime: Streets of LA. He has had brief acting roles as well. He appeared in the TV series The Roaches. He has also acted in a few movies, such as Jacked, Cutthroat Alley, Rebel Invazion, and What Now.

Currently, he is single. He is active in the social media, especially on Instagram where he posts pictures of his social life. His net worth is believed to be in the vicinity of $500 thousand.
