Albert Brown is known as the most influential romantic singer for the new jack swing era. When he released the album called in Effect Mode, in 1988, he became the next big star because his album got a platinum certificate. The album was including the popular song Nite and Day and it helped him to stay to the Billboard R&B chart in 49 days. When his singing career became stagnant, he ventured into acting and has a number of projects that he participated into like The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America and Late Night With David Letterman.
