Alan Ritchson

Alan Ritchson was born on 28 November 1984. He was born in North Dakota in United States of America. His father’s name is David Ritchson and his mother’s name is Vickie Ritchson. His father is a retired U.S. Air Force chief master sergeant and his mother worked as a teacher in high school. He has three siblings, his elder brother’s name is Eric and his younger brother’s name is Brian.

Alan’s childhood was spend in Illinois and Florida. Alan also got a Music Scholarship. He later completed his education from Northwest Florida State College. He received his degree in Arts in 2003. In 2006, Alan decided to tie a knot with Catherine Ritchson. Before the marriage, there were rumours of him being a gay, which were definitely proved to be wrong after the marriage. After Alan married his wife, Catherine, she gave birth to three children. He surely loves his wife a lot.

Alan had short and crisp modelling career. He started with his modelling career in 2008 and concluded the career in 2009. Alan’s first modelling assignment was with Abercrombie and Fitch and the last modelling assignment was completed with the same organization.

Alan is a great singer but he never got a platform to prove his worth until 2004. It was that year when he contested for American Idol, an American Singing Show. He was among the top 87 contestants. Given a good platform, he came in the notice of Hollywood directors and he was signed up for the shows by them. He gained a lot of fame for performing a striptease in the show ‘American Idol’. Alan performed in a lot of TV shows and movies like ‘Smallville’, ‘Though None Go with Me’ and ‘The Justice League: The new Frontier’. All these shows helped him reach where he is today. His performance as a stripper in American Idol was not forgotten and therefore he was given a role of a male stripper in a show called ‘Head Case’. He was widely loved by his audience. He also appeared on the famous show ‘CSI: Miami’. Another famous show which he worked for was ‘90201’. At present, Alan is can be seen on a show called ‘I can do that’ and the show ‘Nosedive’.

Coming to the movies he worked for, the list is again long. Some of the famous movies which he worked for were ‘The Butcher’ in 2006 and ‘Fired up’ in 2007. He worked hard to gain popularity since his first appearance in American Idol and no doubt he was widely accepted and adored by his audience. Alan also worked in the Ninja Turtle series which again helped him in reaching the heights he is at today.
