Aisha Tayler, an actress, has become famous mostly due to her parts in so popular series like “Ghost Whisperer” (Andrea Marino), “Friends” (Charlie Wheeler), “Archer” (Lana Kane) and many others.

She was born in 18th of September 1970 in San Francisco, California, USA. Her parents were teacher Robin Gregory and photographer Jim Tyler. Her interest to a comedy genre she has inherited from her father, who raised her after his divorce.
She has graduated Dartmouth College, and soon after that she has got a part of Charlie Wheeler in a very popular TV series “Friends”, reporter in “Nash Bridges” and Angela Somerset in “The pretender”. The success of Aisha Tayler has been growing dramatically and since 2001 she has continued her career in television with more serious roles. She began to host TV shows “Talk Soup”, “The Fifth Wheel”, got parts in TV series “24” and “Sausage Factory”.
In 2004 she released her own glamour book “A Guide to the Sweet Life for Postmodern Girls”.
During 2005 - 2006, the actress worked in series “Ghost Whisperer” and took a part in 23 episodes of it.
In May of 2006 Allure magazine published hot photo session of celebrities and one of them was Aisha Tayler, the other ones were: Jenna Elfman, Jaime Pressly, Elizabeth Perkins. On their web site also aired a promo video with short interviews of each celebrity right before and after that session.
In 2007, she played in “Balls of Fury”, “Death Sentence” and played the role of Angela in “The Trap!”.
In 2009, she started voicing top female agent of ISIS Lana Kane in the series “Archer”. This adult animated series got top score 88/100 on Metacritic web site and won 6 awards in different categories. That job made Aisha even more famous than she was before.
In 2011, Aisha launched her audio podcast “Girl on Guy”, where she invited for interview celebrities. The topics of such interviews basically were about “boys stuff”, like booze, rock music, zombies, video games and so on. The podcast became so popular that in 2012, it got more than four million downloads, and now, it’s number 2 in top list of comedy podcasts on iTunes. In 2013, this podcast got Webby Award.
In 2013, Ubisoft Montreal released video game Watch Dogs, where Aisha Tayler appeared as herself.
According to her twitter, she is nominated on The People’s Choice Award, and December 3-rd the results of voting will be available.
Now, she is a regular contributor to the magazine “Glamour” and plays in 11-th Season of “Criminal Minds”, stands for rights of LGBT community.
Apart from making money in many different projects and TV shows, she takes a part in a volunteer work for The Trust for Public Land, American Red Cross, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the International Rescue Committee.
As for her private life, she has been married to Jeff Tietjens since 1994. They still don’t have children but she with her husband found their hobby in beer. Since they both like beer very much they have started joint beer business. Aisha Tayler revealed her passion to beer not once in many interviews, including The Sharon Osbourne Show.
