Terry Gannon‘s full name is Terrance Patrick Terry and was born in the year 1963 in the city of Joliet in Illinois city. He is a sportscaster at Golf Channel and NBC Sports, now he is an announcer of figure skating and gold. His work had included different sporting events and they include Olympic Rowing, cycling, horse racing, auto racing, baseball, NBA, WNBA, Golf, figure skating, college football and college basketball.

Terry Gannon started with his career in basketball when he was at Joliet Catholic High School in Illinois and his father was a coach there. He was also a shortstop and a pitcher for its baseball team. He became All-Chicago selection in baseball and basketball. After his graduation in the year 1981, he started to play College Basketball in North Carolina State and he was the member of Cardiac Pack national championship winning team of Jim Valvano in the year 1983.
