Noah Wyle is an American actor who is famous for portraying Dr. John Carter on the TV series ‘ER’ and Tom Mason in ‘Falling Skies’.


Personal life

Noah Wyle was born on 4th June, 1971 in Hollywood California to parents Marjorie and Stephen Wyle. His mother was an orthopedic nurse while his father was an entrepreneur and electrical engineer. His nationality is American. Noah belonged to a religiously eclectic family as his father was Jewish and his mother was Episcopalian. His biological parents separated in the last 70s and later on, his mother married James C. Katz. Noah attended The Thatcher School, California and graduated in 1989. After graduating, he studied acting with Larry Moss while he stayed at a small apartment in Hollywood Boulevard.

Noah Wyle met with his first wife Tracy Warbin, a make-up artist on the sets of ‘The Myth of Fingerprints’. They tied the knot in 2000 and had two kids together before they separated in 2010. Noah then married Sara Wells in California in June 2014. The two met an year after Noah’s divorce from his first wife during a production at The Blank Theatre Company. They have a daughter named Frances Harper Wyle.

Career

Noah Wyle’s big break occurred when he got an opportunity to be the pilot script for ER and was also cast as John Carter, a medical student. He happened to be the youngest actor of the entire cast. His debut film was ‘Lust in the Dust’ alongside Lainie Kazan, Tab Hunter and Divine in which he was kept as an extra in a local gang. He was later seen on various mini-series. He also featured in ‘Crooked Hearts’ in 1990. Three years later he played in ‘There Goes My Baby’.

Noah then appeared in several local plays before being cast in the hit movie ‘A Few Good Men’, wherein he played a jeep driver. He appeared in ‘Swing Kids’ and in ‘The Myth of Fingerprints’. He starred in ‘Guinevere’ alongside Sheryl Lee as Lancelot.

Noah was highly acclaimed for portraying Steve Jobs in ‘Pirates of the Silicon Valley’, which got nominated for the Emmy awards. Apart from being an actor, Noah is also an artistic producer of ‘The Blank Theatre Company’ based in California. He has appeared in the 1995 production of ‘The 24th Day’ with his company. He won an NAACP Theatre Award for his work as one of the producers of ‘The Wild Party’ in 2005. Due to all his work, he has a net worth of $15 million.

Noah was a lead actor in TNT’s science fiction series ‘Falling Skies’. He played Tom Mason, who was a former Boston University professor. Tom also happens to be the father of three boys and one of the boys is abducted by the aliens. Noah’s performance in ‘Falling Skies’ earned him the 91st position in the lost of “TV’s Sexiest Men of 2011”.
