Monica Bellucci was born in the year 1964 on September 30th. She spent her early childhood years in San Giustino. She was the only child of Pasquale Bellucci and Brunella Briganti. She has received a lot of love and care from her parents. She belonged from an upper middle class family and that is why she had to never face any kind of financial difficulty in her life. Her mother was a fashion designer and her father was an engineer.

She was very much inspired from her mother as she was a popular fashion icon. She wanted to become a model when she was only six years old. From the early age of thirteen years, she started doing modelling. Her father did not want her to go into the modelling career so early as he thought that it would affect her academic career. She could not concentrate on her studies and only wanted to maintain a perfect figure and build up her body language as a successful model. Her mother helped her, a lot in achieving success in the future, as a model.

She started her modelling career at the age of thirteen when she did a photo-shoot for a local photographer. When she finished her graduation in the school, she shifted to Milan to join the Elite Model Management. She received the training as a model and did a number of photo shoots as the calendar model girls. Within a year, she achieved a lot of popularity in her career and by the year 1989, she attempted in the Paris fashion model contest which was organised in the New York City.

After the huge success as a model in Paris, she received an offer from the Elle, a popular French magazine. At the same time, she also did a photo shoot for Dolce & Gabbana. She achieved a lot of popularity as a renowned model and started her training classes as an actor. She was counted among the 100 hottest women where she ranked at the 21st. Later, she also popularised herself as the sex icon in the country.

In the year 1990, she made her first film debut. She initially started her film career as a minor actor and appeared in the films like Bram Stocker’s Dracula in the year 1992 and La Riffa in the year 1991. She imparted her minor roles so efficiently that she had received the nomination for the César Award. This helped her to strengthen her position in the industry as an actress. When she appeared in the biopic of Sonia Gandhi, it changed her career altogether. She was also counted among the actress in the list of The Sexiest 25 Characters in Cinema for her major roles in many popular films.
