Megyn Kelly

Megyn Kelly with full name Megyn Marie Kelly, called also Megyn Kendall for some time, she is a news pundit, former attorney and a journalist working on Fox News Channel. She is the host for The Kelly File at the Weekdays from the New York City headquarters. She was the host of America Live and before that; she was the co-host of America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer. From 2007 until 2012, both hosted the Fox News Channels for the specials of New Year’s Eve. She was in the list of 100 influential people in the entire world for 2014.


Megyn Kelly was born in the New York, in Syracuse place. Her father is Edward Kelly and was teaching the education in the State University of New York found in Albany. Her mother is Linda a homemaker of Italian descent.

When she was still young, she attended the Tecumseh elementary School when she was 9 years old and she moved to Albany New York Suburb. She attended Bethlehem Central High School there. Her father died when she was still 15 years old. After her high school studies, she did an undergraduate degree in the Political Science of Syracuse University and got J.D from the Albany Law School. She is a Roman Catholic.

Megyn Kelly worked in different careers.

In law: She worked like an associate for Chicago office of the law firm Bickel and Brewer LLP and during this time, she co-wrote the article, The Conflicting Roles of Lawyers as Director for the journal of American Bar Association. She worked for Jones Day where she worked for Nine years and one of her clients is Credit Bureau Experian.

In the journalism: Kelly went to Washington D.C and was hired WJLA-TV, the affiliate for the ABC where she was working like the general Assignment reporter. She did the coverage for many local and national events such as the confirmation of the hearing of US Supreme Court Justice called Samuel A. Alito, Jr, Chief Justice John G Roberts and the retirement of the Justice Sandra Day O’ Connor, 2004 Presidential election and the death of William Rehnquist who was the Chief Justice. She contributes to the legal segment of the Special Report with Brit Hume and she hosted a legal segment under her name Kelly’s Court within Weekend Live. She was appearing in the Weekly segment called The O’Reilly factor and he sometime filled for Greta Van Sustern for On the Record where she reported mostly on political and legal matter.

Megyn Kelly was married to Daniel Kendall, who is anaesthesiologist from September 2001 and this marriage ended by the divorce of 2006. In 2008, she got married to Douglas Brunt, a CEO and President of Authentium but later, he became a novelist and a full time writer. The couple has three children.
