Linda Diane Thompson, or simply Linda Thompson, was born on 23rd May in the year 1950. The future actress drew her first breath in Memphis, Tennessee, where she was also raised by her parents, Sanford Abel Thompson and Margie Thompson. Into the bargain, she has an older brother, named Sam, and he worked as one of the bodyguards of Elvis Presley.

It is only known that Linda Thompson attended the Memphis State University, where she got a title of the Miss of the University in 1970.

Indeed, Linda Thompson’s career began thanks to her beauty, whereas she became the Miss Shelby County of 1969. In particular, Linda Thompson started to appear in different movies and TV shows, such as “Hee Haw”, a TV series, “Starsky and Hutch”, “Fantasy Island”, “Vega$”, “CHiPs”, “Beverly Hills, 90210”, and “The Fall Guy.” As the time went on, the career of Linda Thompson has progressed. She was a star of a couple of TV pilots like “Two for Two” and “Mars Base One”. Linda Thompson starred in several movies like “Original Intent” (1991), “Rabbit Test” (1978), and “The Bodyguard” (1992).

After all, Linda Thompson starred in 4 documentaries about the life of Elvis Presley which were released in the 1997-2004 period. Personal life

Linda Thompson is remembered by many as a person who dated Elvis Presley after acquainting him at the Miss America contest. Their relationship, moreover, was depicted in a film named “Elvis and the Beauty Queen.” In 1981, however, the actress married Bruce Jenner, a famous decathlete then, whom she dated since 1980. The couple got two sons, Sam Brody Jenner and Brandon Jenner. However, the couple filed for divorce in 1986. Nowadays, by the way, Bruce Jenner is more known as Caitlyn Marie Jenner after he changed his sex.

Also, David Foster, a Canadian composer with whom Linda cooperated, had been her husband since 1991 up to 2005.
