Linda Diane Thompson, or simply Linda Thompson, was born on 23rd May in the year 1950. The future actress drew her first breath in Memphis, Tennessee, where she was also raised by her parents, Sanford Abel Thompson and Margie Thompson. Into the bargain, she has an older brother, named Sam, and he worked as one of the bodyguards of Elvis Presley.

The couple got two sons, Sam Brody Jenner and Brandon Jenner. However, the couple filed for divorce in 1986. Also, David Foster, a Canadian composer with whom Linda cooperated, had been her husband since 1991 up to 2005.
