Lee Brice was born to Benneth Brice and Carleen Brice on 10 June 1979 in Sumter, South Carolina. Later he relocated to Music city to pursue his career in music. As a child Brice and his younger brother Lewis who is also a famous musician learned Piano and Guitar. They used to play these instruments and sing at church. During his high school days he had participated and won number of talent contests. Brice started singing and performing at the age of ten. He got football scholarship for Clemson University where he played special teams as a long snapper, but an arm injury led him away from football and he decided to focus on country music.


Brice began his career in 2007 as songwriter on which he says ‘I had success as a writer before I had success as an artist’. His first single ‘She Ain’t Right’ was ranked number 29 on the Country Chart. Till date he has three studio albums, twelve singles and nine music videos with his branding that showcase his success as a singer as well as songwriter. His co-wrote ‘More than a Memory’ song debuted at number one on Billboard Hot Country songs. He signed to Curb Records in 2007.

He has longest running country music chart on his name, ‘Love Like Crazy’ which stayed 56 weeks running on country music. Other four singles have charted at number one on Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay. He has written singles to many successful and reputed country singers like Garth Brooks, Adam Gregory, Eli Young Band, and Tim McGraw. His composition ‘More Than a Memory’ has a record of being the first song ever to debut at number one on the country chart.

In spite of his valued contribution to music industry, Brice is not an award winning artist. He doesn’t have any reputed award of music industry till date. But with his passion, style and performance he has built his fan club. He was nominated for the New Artist of the Year Award at the 2012 CMA Awards. He has also been nominated for ACM Award, Grammy Award for his various records.

Lee Brice and his wife Sara Reeveley have a great love story. It is said that they first met on North Myrtle beach when he was 18 and enjoying his vacation there. His song ‘I Don’t Dance’ reflects their relationship which is a lead single to his third studio album released on September 9, 2014. ‘Drinking Class’ is the album's second single which ranked at number two on the Country Airplay chart in May 2015. His wife can be seen in the song ‘See About A Girl’ of ‘Hard 2 Love’ album. The couple got married in 2013. They have two children Takoda Brice and Ryker Mobley Brice.
