Paul Kevin Jonas II, more renowned as simply Kevin Jonas, was born on 5th November in the year 1987. He drew his first breath in Teaneck, New Jersey, even though he was raised in New Jersey’s Wyckoff. Both parents of his, Paul Kevin Jonas and Denise Marie, have been associated with music. His mother was a singer, while his father was a musician and songwriter. In addition, Kevin Jonas has the following roots: Greek, Cherokee, French-Canadian, Scottish, Irish, German, and Italian. He has three younger brothers: Joe, Nick, and Frankie.

Career Experience

His music career, as well as the music career of two brothers of his, began in 2005, when the new CEO of Columbia Records signed a deal with them. In fact, the label’s president did not like their album, but, however, he was impressed by the voice of Nick, the brother of Kevin Jonas. Shortly after signing the deal, they renamed their band from “Sons of Jonas” into “Jonas Brothers”.

On 8th August in the year 2006, they released their debut album under the name “It’s About Time.” The album was sold in a limited number of 50,000. Due to the misunderstanding and the unwillingness of the label to promote the band further, the group decided to find another label, and Columbia Records stopped the cooperation with them at the beginning of 2007.

However, while being without a label for around a month, the band struck a deal with another label, Hollywood Records. “Jonas Brothers”, the second album of the band, was released in the same year and shot up in the charts up to the fifth place, particularly in the Billboard 200 chart.

The following album of theirs, titled “A Little Bit Longer”, was even more successful and topped the chart. The album “Lines, Vines, and Trying Times”, which was released in 2009, reached the height of the chart, too. Around 247,000 copies were sold then. However, the group decided to stop collaboration with the label, with which they had released three incredibly successful albums, and purchased the rights to their songs.

Following their refusal to continue cooperation with Hollywood Records, the band had gone through a number of conflicts, separations, and reunions. After all numerous attempts to continue performing and recording new albums, the band finally officially split on 29th October in the year 2013.

However, apart from the career of the musician, Kevin Jonas has actively starred since 2007. In particular, he played roles in such movies like “Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert” (2008), “Camp Rock” (2008), “Jonas Brothers: The 3 CD Concert Experience” (2009), “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” (2009), “Beyond All Boundaries” (2009), and “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.” He also starred in a number of TV series. Up to date, the net worth of Kevin Jonas is estimated at $18 million.

After meeting Danielle Delease in 2007 for the first time, he later married her. His wife gave a birth to their daughter, named Alena Rose, at the beginning of 2014.
