Danny Meyer did his schooling from the John Burroughs School as he was born and brought up in St. Louis, Missouri. After his parents shifted to Wisconsin when Danny was only a kid, he attended the Camp Nebagamon School based in Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin. Danny Meyer is a married person who tied the knot with Audrey Rayelyn Heffernan way back in 1988 at the Unitarian Church of All Souls which is based in Manhattan. Career

Passionate about food and cuisines, Danny Meyer opened his first restaurant called ‘Union Square Café’ when he was just 27 years of age. This was in 1985 and Danny’s business strategy of satisfying his customers worked well in his favor. There is a very long list of Danny Meyer’s personal restaurants and co-owned ones. Some of them include ‘Union Square Cafe’, ‘Blue Smoke’, ‘Gramercy Tavern’, ‘Shake Shack’, ‘Jazz Standard’, ‘Terrace 5’, ‘The Modern’, ‘Untitled’, ‘Gramercy Park Hotel’, ‘Marta’, ‘GreenRiver’, ‘North End Grill’, ‘Union Square Events’, ‘Porchlight’ and ‘Hospitality Quotient’.
