Clinton Kelly was born in the year 1969 and he is a media personality and a Fashion consultant of American citizenship. He is a co-host of What Not To Wear. It is a reality program that features fashion makeover. The other co-host if Stacy London. He started the career when he was a freelance writer of many fashion magazines and he continues to write but he had expanded into the fashion designing and consulting. He had joined The Chew, an ABD daytime cooking show like a moderator.


From his biography, his parents have Italian and Irish ancestry. He was born in the city of Panama and he grew up in the city of Port Jefferson Station in Long Island. He attended Comsewogue High School in the year 1987 and he went to Boston College where he got a communication degree in 1991. He was the president for the University Chorale at Boston College. After college, he got a master’s degree in the journalism and he was specializing in the magazine publishing at Medill School of Journalism in Northwestern University.

Before he started to work at What Not To Wear, he had been on a short lived QVC spinoff of Q2 and he worked like a freelance editor and a writer for many publications of New York. She was the editor of Marie Claire and a deputy editor of Mademoiselle where he was contributing under Joe L’Amour pseudonym. Afterwards, he became executive editor of Daily News Record new show, and it is a weekly retail trade and men’s fashion which is based in New York.

Clinton Kelly attended three auditions before becoming the co-host of What Not to Wear. Clinton Kelly is a gay openly but he does not portray it in the show. Fans trust him because of his strength in the choices he makes but it is not because he is gay and he has to know fashion theory. He served like a guest consultant of Miss America: Countdown to the Crown show of TLC. He was an assistant to Mario Lopez live pageant telecast.

Together with Stacy, Clinton Kelly wrote a book called Dress Your Best: The Complete Guide to Finding The Style That’s Right for Your Body. During the year 2008, he wrote Freakin’s Fabulous: How to Dress, Speak, Behave, Eat, Drink, Entertain, Decorate and Generally Be Better than Everyone Else. He is also the author of Oh No She Didn’t, where he tells about the don’ts and do’s in fashion of women. He was a writer of weekly style column called RedEye at The Chicago Tribune. He is the spokesman of Macy’s and owns a clothing line at QVC named Kelly by Clinton Kelly.

Clinton Kelly got married to Damon Bayles in 2009 in Connecticut at their home. Since his spouse is also a man, they have no children. His net worth is 2 million dollars and he has lived an accident free life.
