Carson Lee Kressley is a renowned TV personality, actor and a famous designer. He is known as a fashion expert on American television show Queer Eye in which he was one of the show’s Fab Five. He had been the motivational host of How to Look Good Naked, an American television program. He also hosted OWN’s Carson Nation. He has also appeared as a contestant of Dancing with the Stars season 13.

Kressley was born on November 11, 1969 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He was raised in the unincorporated community of Orefield, Pennsylvania. He used to participate in the competitions typically held in equine events right from his childhood and the main reason behind this is that his family was in the occupation of raising ponies. He has been a great lover of ponies and this love took him to the membership of US World Cup Saddle Seat equitation team in the year 1999. He won this world championship in 2009. Kressley completed his graduation in 1987 from Northwestern Lehigh high school and in the year 1991 he got his bachelor’s degree from the Gettysburg College. In the college he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and became the member of fraternity Alpha Phi Omega.
While taking a glance on his career we see that he began his career as an independent stylist but from 1994 until 2002 he worked for Ralph Lauren. There he used to work in a number of areas like corporate advertising and menswear. He became a TV star in 2003 at the time when he earned wonderful exposure as ‘fashion savant’ on queer eye. He remained active and visible on American TV as a commentator or a fashion critic. He used appeared on Good Morning America very regularly. Besides Good Morning America, he used to be a part of E! Network and has been a recognized critique for red carpet fashions as well as other high profile events like Golden Globes and Oscars. In 2005 he was honoured to be the judge of Miss Universe Pageant that went on air live from Bangkok, capital city of Thailand. In the year 2006 he came back to Miss Universe pageant, not as a judge but as a commentator. He also paid his service for 2006 Miss USA pageant.
Kressley was announced as host of Lifetime makeover show named How to Look Good Naked in February 2007. Three months later in May 2007 he performed as the judge of a reality series called Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants. In this show mothers and daughters teams become in front of each other to compete in the beauty pageant. He also appeared in Big Brother Australia. Along with Beth stern and Vanessa Minnillo ha has hosted True Beauty on the ABC series. Carson Nation was the title of the show Kressley Carson started on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Besides hosting he has pursued successful career in acting. For an ‘Outstanding Reality Show’, Queer Eye won the Emmy Awards in 2004.
