Ann Hart Coulter is the daughter of John Vincent Coulter, who was a FBI agent and Nell Husbands Coulter. Her parents welcomed her into the world on the date of December 8, 1961 in New York City. Coulter and her elder siblings, John and James Coulter were raised in Connecticut.

Her initial studies were done at New Canaan High School. She accomplished her Bachelor Degree graduation in the 1984 at the prestigious Cornell University. She got her Juris Doctor Degree in 1988 from The University of Michigan Law School. She was a law practitioner in New York. She started as a law clerk with Pasco Bowman II. She was also an editor of The Michigan Law Review. Coulter is involved as a legal columnist for the magazine, Human Events.

Ann drescribed to The Guardian how her father shaped her political views and values, “Father didn’t care what popular opinion was. There was right and wrong.  He was contemptuous of moral relativism on issues like abortion, and I saw “the look of disgust” on his face when he saw a picture in the newspaper of Senator Ted Kennedy, a Catholic Democrat, praying a rosary.”

Broadcasting Career

The fiercely outspoken lady got dismissed from MSNBC due to her statement on the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation’s President; referring to him as an incapacitated Vietnam veteran. She then commented with a harsh remark “No wonder you guys didn’t win”. Coulter faced another firing episode in the conservative National Review when she wrote a column where she claimed that the only solution to the issues of Muslim is to conquer their countries, slay their frontrunners and change them to Christianity.

She has appeared as a guest in famous shows on TV like Piers Morgan, Hannity, Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO, Good Morning America, Fox & Friends, Guardian (UK), The Washington Post and The New York Times. She also has a milestone in her pocket when she appeared as the leading lady in a cover story on Time Magazine.

Writing Career

She belongs to the Republican Party and has a net worth of $8.5 million USD, but her annual salary is unavailable to the public. A dedicated conservatism supporter, she has been engaged in writing thought provoking and criticizing columns for many conservative websites, newspapers and magazines. The conservative commentator was listed by the federal judge Richard Posner among the top most 100 Public Intellectuals in 2001.
