Ty Dolla was born as Tyrone William Griffin JR and he was born in the year 1985. It was in the city of Los Angeles in California. He was born with a big brother named TC with a sister called Angel Gold. He did homeschooling and finished high school at home. When he was a teenager, he became a gang member for the Bloods. From his bio, Ty Dolla together with a partner called Kory, they did sign the record deal under Venus Brown and Buddah Brown entertainment. They got an opportunity of releasing the mixtape under the name of the Raw& Bangin Mixtape Vol 2. The two continued and sang some songs from other artists. When the two were no longer working together, Ty Dolla decided to work with YG rapper. He became famous because of featuring in the song of YG which became a hit and it was called Toot It and Boot It. During this year, he started to work in co-writing, production and with guest appearances.
Career
Afterwards, Ty Dolla joined the Pu$haz Ink Group with the first solo album called All Star in the year 2011. It was followed by the singles such as Paranoid, My Cabana and Irie. He had also co-founded a production team called D.R.U.G.S with some music producers like G Casso and Chordz 3D.
He had worked with other singers like Young Maestro, Joe Moses and Pac Div. His first mixtape was in House on the Hill in the year 2011. In the year 2012, he entered into the contract with Atlantic Records and he released first solo mixtape called Beach House and it was followed by the Beach House 2. The album had guest appearances from Kirko Bangz, Juicy J, Too Short and Wiz Khalifa. Ty Dolla Sign also entered into a deal with Taylor Gang Records of Wiz Khalifa. He was with A$AP Rocky and Khalifa for the concert tour named Under the Influence of Music 2.
