Lea Michele Sarfati was born in the year 1986 in the city of Bronx in New York. Her father is Mark David Sarfati while the mother is Edith Thomasina. Her dad worked as a real estate agent and was the owner of a delicatessen. Her mother worked as a nurse. She is of Neapolitan, Roman, Thessalonians and Greek descent. Biography
Her family moved to live in Tenafly when she was only 5 years. It was the same time that she started to go to the Broadway and the family supported her through renting a house in Manhattan. She went to the Rockland Country Day School found in Congers in New York. Afterwards, she started to be homeschooled and went to the high school known as Tenafly High School.
Career
She stopped to use her name because she was being teased by it so she decided to use the middle name. She had acted in different plays including the Spring Awakening, Fiddler on The Roof, Ragtime and Les Miserables. She went to the Stagedoor Manor found at the Catskill to be trained in art. At the age of 19, the mother got diagnosed of suffering the uterine cancer but in the end, it got treated.
According to her biography, with the success of Broadway Theatrical, she got picked so that she can appear in the Fox Musical drama series called Glee. She was the lead singer and actress. These series started in the year 2009 and the role she had was appreciated and got her different awards. In the year 2010, together with other cast members of Glee, they went to perform at different areas of the USA and it included New York, Chicago, LA and Phoenix. Such Glee Live! Shows were expanded after sometime.
Afterwards, she got casted into the New Year Eve and she was the love interest for Ashton Kutcher. It is a movie that became successful and it got released in the entire world in the year 2011. Lea Michele started to date Zandy Reich, the president of the clothing brand called AYR. They got engaged in 2018 and they got married in 2019. With her husband, they are yet to get children.
