Troy Dazrell Roberts was born on the 18th of September, 1983 in San Jose, California, United States of America. His nationality is American and his ethnicity is Afro-American. He started his professional career just a year after his graduation. Los Angeles Galaxy had chosen Troy to take part in the first round in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft. Despite some limited actions with the team as he was just a freshman, Roberts continued to be persistent and hardworking. For four years of playing, he had participated in more than 61 games.
At the same year, he became the winner of both the MLS Cup and The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Four years after, Troy left the Galaxy team. In spring, he became the part of the Cleveland City Stars of the USL First Division. The following year, the contract with the Rochester Rhinos of the USSF 2nd Division was signed by Roberts.
In 2012, he signed this agreement again to play in his third season with Rochester. Troy has three main honors, which he gained during his career. They are Major League Soccer MLS Cup got in 2005, and two awards got in 2010: USSF D-2 Pro League Regular Season Champions and USSF D-2 Pro League Best XI. It is also important to say that his younger brother, Jamil Roberts, followed Troy’s love of playing soccer.
