Patricia Lynn "Trisha" Yearwood was born on the ninth of September, 1964 in Monticello, Georgia, United States of America. Her parents, a schoolteacher Gwendolyn and a banker Jack Howard, were happy to welcome their daughter. As to the siblings, she has a sister Beth. While being a child, Trisha attended the local school and took part in many activities, especially ones connected with music.

During the formative years, she had a dream to become an accountant. Besides, she participated in the National Beta Club. Later, she attended Young Harris College, after which she became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor association. Trisha was also a student of the University of Georgia, but later she decided that it would be better to take lessons in the Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
In 1987, she got bachelor's degree in business administration. As Yearwood was fond of music, after some years of practicing, she finally started to work with MTM Records. Soon, she recorded several singles, while working as a background vocalist. On the studio, one famous singer, Brooks, noticed Trisha’s talent and helped her to become a star.
In the year of 1991, her first album with the main single “She is in Love” was seen by the world. It was a huge success, after which Yearwood got many positive approvals. The following year, Trisha released her second album called “Hearts in Armor”. Among her other albums there were “The Song Remembers When”, “Thinkin' About You”, “Everybody Knows”, “Where Your Road Leads”, “Real Live Woman”, “Inside Out”, “Jasper County” and so on. Besides singing, she also acted a lot.
She is best known for appearing in American comedy-drama film “The Thing Called Love”. She was also seen in “Dr. Quinn and Medicine Woman”, “JAG” and “Nashville”. As it was previously said, Trisha is very talented person. She has a great amount of hobbies, for example cooking. She is the author of several books, in which more than 120 family recipes are included. For her persistent work, she is a winner of many awards like Academy of Country Music Awards in the category of Top New Female Vocalist and Top Female Vocalist.
