Teresa Palmer

Teresa Palmer is a very popular television personality. She is very famous for her major appearances in many films. She has also established herself as a well-known model of the glamour industry. Apart from this, she is also recognised as a producer and also as a talented writer.

Teresa Palmer was born in the 1986 on February 26. She grew up in Adelaide, South Australia to her parents. She was the only child of her parents. Her mother, Paula Sanders worked in a missionary as a nurse and her father, Kevin Palmer worked as an investor. When she was only three years old, her parents got divorced leading to an extra marital affair of her father.

She stayed with her father and stepmother. She also got two stepbrothers and two half-sisters from the second marriage of her father. She used to visit her mother during the vacations and weekends. Later, she started staying with her mother. She has received a strict upbringing from her early childhood days as her mother suffered from manic depression. She went to a Catholic day school, Mercedes College which witnessed her passion for acting.

In the year 2003, she appeared for the “Search for a Movie Star" audition. She wanted to pursue acting as her career but her family did not allow her. So she took up part time small acting jobs to arrange for her pocket money. She started appearing in Santa’s Little Helper and Strawberry Shortcake to advertise and promote different shopping malls and other products. She funded her acting classes with the money that she earned from these part time jobs. She has also worked as a fast food attendant in Rundlr Mall and also at a clothing retail shop in Cotton On, Mambo Australia, Supré. She is a pet lover and wanted to do some service for the pet animals.

After completing her graduation degree in high school, she appeared in the film 2:37 in the role of a student. The role was a major one and she was also nominated for her versatile acting. After that, she took a break from acting and went to the university to pursue journalism and teaching. As her mother wanted her to become a teacher in the future, she learned teaching as another career option. While in the university, she got a chance to play a role in the film Deck Docz. She did not get any consideration from the university to allow her pursue both acting and education. So she left her education midway to pursue acting.

In the year 2005, she appeared in a very small role in the film Deck Dogz. In the same year, she was starred in the film Wolf Creek. This earned her a lot of recognition and also fetched her many roles in the films like December Boys, Restraint, Lolita and many more. In the year 2006, she made her first move to Hollywood in the film Jumper with her co-star Tom Sturridge. She has also appeared in other hollywood films like The Grudge 2, Take Me Home Tonight, Bedtime Stories, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, I Am Number Four, Warm Bodies and many more.
