I Spit On Your Grave actress Sarah Bulter is not related to Gerard Butler. She began her career as a Disney princess at Disneyland and went on to do some hard-hitting films completely unlike Disney.

She was in a choir and entered several singing competition as well as performed in community theater after graduating from high school. When she was in Los Angeles, a friend of hers suggested that she try out to work as a Disney princess at the Disneyland. She then auditioned for the character Belle from the Disney’s Beauty and the Beast story. She got the role and worked there for the next one and a half year. During which, she dropped out of college and focused on landing a film or television role.

Butler started her career as a contestant on the tv show Love’s a Trip in 2004. It did not particularly do well. She got her next break in film in 2007 in the film A Couple of White Chicks at the Hair Dresser where she played the character of Marc’s assistant. After which she went on to appear in a few episodes of the shows such as CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.

Then in 2010, Butler got the audition for the film that would later bring her fame. Butler got the audition script for the film I Spit On Your Grave (2010) but did not initially like it. She did not even want to go in for the audition. However, her then boyfriend told her that she should. She landed the role of Jennifer Hills. She was not a part of the second sequel to the film but was in the third sequel, I Spit On Your Grave III: Vengence Is Mine (2015). She did work on several other films like the Twisted Tales (2013), The Demented (2013), Freefall (2014) and All Light Will End (2018). Also, Butler appeared in some episodes of other tv shows, such as Grey’s Anatomy, Castle and also Nightmare Nurse for which she was an executive producer too.
