Salvatore Vulcano or Sal Vulcano is a member of comedy troupe, The Tenderloins. He is also the producer and writer of Impractical Jokers.

Personal life
Sal was born in Staten Island in 1970. His parents got divorced when he was young. He had his schools at Monsignor Farrell High School. He has a sister, Jenna Vulcano. There were rumors about him being married and hiding his wife and personal life from the media. Sal never commented on any of those rumors. Since he was forty and never married nor dated, there were rumors about him being gay too.
During an interview with his cast members, Sal came out to the public and admitted that he was gay. This inspired his fried Murray who also came out during the same show. Later, Sal admitted that he came out just to inspire his friend to do the same. Thus, in the same show, he agreed that he was gay and at the end denied it.
Once, he tweeted a joke about his wife. Though a few followers were curious about whether he is married secretly, most of his fans knew that it was just a joke. Sal was never seen with a woman for these many years while he under limelight. He was never in a serious relationship. He never talked about his parents, sister, childhood or his romantic life. Many state that Sal is a germ phobic. But, Sal once mentioned that it was just a part of a practical joke and he was not germ phobic. He has a tattoo in his arm that is a lyric of song. He said that the song was for a friend whom he had lost.
Though he has denied being gay, he hasn’t talked about why he is not interested in dating. His sister, Jenna also never talks about his brother. He was never a part of any celebrity relationship. He was never known to be a part of any affair. No one has come up to the media to mention that he or she is his boyfriend or girlfriend. It is said that he talks about his past girlfriends in his podcast but, it is not known whether or not those details are part of some joke. His net worth is 400 thousand dollars.
Career
Sal is a stand-up comedian. He is also known by his stage name Ja’Crispy. He started his career in 1999 with The Tenderloin. He participated in NBC Comedy Show, It’s Your Show and won the competition. He is also a part of hidden camera prank show, Impractical Jokers. He has performed at San Francisco Comedy Festival and also at Miami Improv Festival. He is hosting a podcast too.
His podcast, What Say You has reached a lot of fans and has been awarded as the Best New Show in 2013. The podcast was also nominated for Best Produced Podcast at Annual Podcast Awards of 2015.
