Ryen Russillo was born on the 5th of August, 1975 in West Tisbury, Massachusetts, United States of America. There is not so much information about his parents, only the fact that they were happy to welcome their son. While being a child, he attended the local school and grew up an ordinary boy. During the formative years, Ryen entered the University of Vermont. There he became a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Besides, he was an intern at WCAX in Burlington.

In addition, Ryen was interested in a sport and took part in competitions playing for the Trenton Thunder team.After graduation, Russillo left his own town and mowed to Boston, Massachusetts. There he was the host at“The Die Hards”. He appeared on the screen with such stars like Anthony Pepe, John Anik, Kevin Winter, and Mike Winn when he worked for the Sporting News Radio affiliate WWZN. Soon after Ryen was a commentator for the New England Patriots on WBCN.
As he had some arguments with John Dennis of WEEI, Russillo quit this job. Later, he hosted various shows including NBA Sunday, The Baseball Show, and ESPN Radio. He also appeared regularly for GameNight and for The Doug Gottlieb Show and All Night with Jason Smith. For the work on ESPN Radio, he got the title of the Best Radio Voice of 2007.
Currently, he is often shown on some programs on Comcast Sportsnet New England, among which there are New England Sports Tonight with Gary Tanguay and Greg Dickerson. Moreover, he is a studio analyst for the Boston Celtics' television coverage. In the year of 2015, Ryen greeted former NFL player Danny Kanell as the new co-host for his Russillo Show, after Scott Van Pelt's departure from ESPN Radio.
