Personal Life Mary was born on February 8th, 1969, in Plainfield, New Jersey. Her mother is a clinical Therapist named Norah McCormack and her Father is a car dealer and has an ice cream parlor his name is William McCormack. Her parents divorced in 1990.
She has two siblings Bridget Mary McCormack and Will McCormack. Her Sister Bridget is a justice of the Michigan Supreme Court and she is the current Professor of law at the University of Michigan Law School and her brother is an actor who also made an appearance as the FBI agent O’Connor on ‘In Plain Sight’.
In July 2003, Mary married Michael Morris. With him, she has 3 children. Career
McCormack began her acting career when she was 12; she performed in Gian Carlo Menotti’s Christmas Opera Amahl and the Night Visitors. She even took part in musicals and acting program at William Esper Studio. She even worked in New York theater productions including The Atlantic Theater Company, The Naked Angels etc. Mary also portrayed Justine Appleton on Murder One during 1995-1997, and she also starred in HBO series called K Street that only aired for ten episodes.
McCormack starred in the USA Network series called ‘In Plain Sight’ where she portrayed Mary Shannon. McCormack was cast as the lead in Kari Lizer untitled comedy pilot on ABC. During her career, she was nominated for the 2008 Tony Award for Best Performance By a Featured Actress in Play for her role as Gretchen in 2008 Broadway revival of Boeing Boeing.
