Mary Kay Ash is the name of a great American business woman. She is the founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics, INC. She was born on May 12, 1918, in Hot Wells, Harris County, Texas, USA. Ash was the daughter of Edwar Alexander and Lula Vember Hastings Wanger. She was a trained nurse. Her mother wanted her to be a nurse but, she started her job as a manager of a restaurant in Houston.

To build up her career, she started to motivate women who're willing to develop their career by selling Mary Kay cosmetics. Due to the result, she created an effective female sales representatives. When her product started running, she gave an interview at CBS for 60 minutes in 1979. The business prospered after the interview.
