Marley Kayden

Marley Kayden is known as an American journalist. She is most famous for being the Weekend Traffic Anchor at WMAQ-TV, a local affiliate of NBC 5.


Background

Kayden was born and brought up in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2007. She was able to obtain Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and Drama. She was a good student graduated with a high grade distinction by scoring 3.7 GPA.

Early Career

Marley Kayden started her first employment in the journalism field in In January of 2008. She worked for Wall Street Media in New York as a co-anchor of "Stocks Today”. Her role was important on the show because she detailed the day by day money related news. She also interviewed CEOs and other important figures in the financial field. Kayden worked as a Business Reporter for the Medill News Service in 2012.

Putting her melodic gifts to use, she worked in Chicago Music Theater toward the start of 2013 as a theater and music correspondent, providing details on a range of subjects from live performance centers to contemporary music shows. Her previous background in music and theater made it easy for her to provide coverage for her station.
