Born on 6th April 1952, Merilu is an famous American Actress. Her full name is “Mary Lucy Denise "Marilu" Henner”. She is also a producer, author and a radio host. Her role as Elaine O’Connor Nardo in Taxi is quite well known.

Personal Life

Merilu is daughter of Loretta Callis and Joseph, born in Chicago, Illinois and was raised there. Both her parents passed away at the age of near 50. She used to be known as Mary Pudlowski. She started to learn dance at the age of two and started to teach dancing lessons in her studio, at the age of 14. She went to Madonna High School and attended Chicago University for three years and later, decided to pursue acting, as her career.

In 1980, she married Fredric Forrest and after two years, they decided to get separated. The she got married to Robert Lieberman who is a producer and have 2 sons Nicholas Morgan and Joseph Marlon with him.

In 2001, they sought a divorce. She married third time to Michael Brown her collage friend. Career

In 1972, she left her school and joined the national company of Grease. She originated “Marty” and played the role with John Travolta. She got her first broadway role in “Over Here!” She made her debut in Sleeper between the Lines playing a role of a Stripper.

In 1978, she got a role in TV serial ‘Taxi’. She played role of single mother named Elaine O'Connor-Nardo. This show aired for five seasons. She appeared in many movies such as Man on the Moon, Jonny Dangerously, Batman and Mr. Freeze: Subzero, Enemies of Laughter, Vamps etc and in many TV shows as well Grey’s Anatomy, Two and Half Men, June in January, The Crazy One, Good Behavior, Accidentally in Love and many more.
