Lzzy Hale (full name Elizabeth Mae Hale) was born on October 10, 1983 in Red Lion, Pennsylvania. There is quite a little information about her family and early years. Her parents wanted Elizabeth to pursue a career in management or medicine. She also has a brother Arejay Hale, who is a musician too, and even playing drums with Lzzy in her band. She attended a local elementary school and later studied at the William Penn High School in Harrisburg, PA. Lzzy didn't attend the college.

She has been interested in music since her early years and started playing piano at age of 5. She was very passionate and serious in her dreams and at the early time she was planning to start her career. When she was 16, she took a guitar and in the 1997 co-founded her own band “Halestorm”. In the 1999 she released her first EP, which was titled “Don't Mess With the Time Man”. In the 2007 she appeared in the The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Their last album “Into the Wild Life” was released in the 2015.
She was honored with her own Lzzy Hale Signature Gibson Guitar by the Gibson Guitar Corporation, which released in September 2014. She also involved in different media work, including the advice column "Ask Lzzy" for Revolver magazine. Lzzy appeared on the cover of Revolver as one of the "Hottest Chicks in Metal" along with Landmine Marathon vocalist Grace Perry.
In the 2015 she appeared there again in the list of the "25 hottest chicks in hard rock and metal". She involved on Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Letters From the Labyrinth album track "Forget About the Blame". She recorded track "Straight Through the Heart" from the Dio This Is Your Life album by Ronnie James. In September of 2016 she sang "Our New World" composition, from the The Astonishing album by the Dream Theater. It was released on YouTube channel.
In the 2014 she announced, that she is a bisexual on her personal Twitter account. She also has a relationship with a guitarist Joe Hottinger. There is no information about her previous relationship.
