Kristin Laura Kreuk known popularly as Kristin Kreuk was born on 30th December 1982. She is an actress who is Canadian by birth. She was born in Vancouver, a city in British Columbia. Her parents are Peter Kreuk and Dianna Che. Her father is Dutch while her mother is of Chinese origin. Both are landscape artists. Kristin is not married yet. She is in a relationship with her long time partner Mark Hildreth who is a musician since 2004. She does not have any children. Kristin presently resides in Vancouver. She is a self proclaimed pescatarian. She loves salmon fish. Kristin Kreuk completed her graduation from Eric Hamber High School. Kristin Kreuk had her first breakthrough in acting when she got a chance to play the role of Laurel Yeng in the popular Canadian TV show Edgemont which was targeted at the teenage audience. Her next big break was when she landed the lead role of Snow White in the movie Snow White : The Fairest of Them All. This show was a TV movie which later got its DVD release in 2002. This was followed by the mini TV series Legend of Earthsea in which she was seen as Tenar.
However, her biggest breakthrough came in 2001 when she was selected for the immensely popular TV series Smallville produced by Warner Brothers Network. The storyline revolved around Superman in his younger days when he was Clark Kent. Till 2005, she starred in both Edgemont and Smallville. She left Smallville in 2008 after completing 7 seasons. However she was the guest star for the 8th season in 2009. In 2009, she played the role of Hannah in the TV series Chuck.
In 2010, she was seen as Tirzah, the sister of Ben Hur in the TV movie series having the same title. From 2012 to 2016, she was involved in the TV series, Beauty and The Beast. She has received the People's Choice Award in the category of Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress
Kristin has also starred in a number of films. She first starred in the comedy movie Eurotrip in 2004 which also had Hollywood star Matt Damon in its cast. She starred in the independent movie Partition in 2005 which released in 2007. In 2009, she was seen on screen playing the role of Chun Li in the movie Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li. From 2010 to 2012, she has signed films such as Vampire, Irvine Welsh’s Ecstasy and Space Milkshake.
She runs a production company named Parvati Creative Inc. along with Rosena Bhura. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie Blink which was their first production. They have also produced a comedy series, Queenie. She is the worldwide spokes model and does advertising campaigns for the cosmetics company Neutrogena.
